From Myth to Market

Since the beginning, in 2017, the central vision of the BlackDragon team has been to empower projects that offer innovative blockchain solutions to real-life problems, while adding value to the crypto industry as a whole. By building a platform like BlackDragon, they were able to constantly provide a way for community members to invest their funds into promising early-stage projects.

Tale of BlackDragon and Blank

Now let's dive into the story of our collaboration. BlackDragon was on the lookout for an experienced development team, with a lot of experience in Web3. Intrigued with the idea behind the project, we decided to embark on a crypto adventure with BlackDragon. Blank development team jumped in on the project and led all development efforts since the start of 2022.

Development

Since we got on the project later, our initial goal was to refactor and improve a lot of existing code so that it would be a lot easier to add new features and maintain the whole app.

Once we did that, we implemented new features on the back-end, front-end, and smart contracts. We made sure all systems are operational and users have a seamless experience investing and claiming tokens.

To be able to invest, the user must have BDT (BlackDragon Tokens). The platform provides users with a fair pro-rata distribution model, based on the percentage of invested tokens. We generated invoices in a pdf form, we automated it so that it is generated every month.

Behind the New Features

Some of the key features we implemented are notifications which ensure users are aware of all the new investment opportunities and distributed tokens, and more advanced investment stage configuration options. Along with that we designed and implemented an analytics and portfolio performance module and the admin dashboard for monitoring and controlling automated distributions. We improved the automated token distribution.

Tech Stack

Our development team used React on the front-end, Fastify (Node.js) on the back-end, and Solidity for smart contract development. By migrating the whole platform from Gnosis Chain to Arbitrum, we improved automated token distribution.
